GreenNet is a coalition of Chicago Greening Organizations. By becoming a member of GreenNet your organization not only supports Chicago’s greening network, you receive the following benefits:
Full Organizational Member ($100 annually)
- Listed on GreenNet website with link to your organization’s website
- Postings in newsletter and website calendars
- Discount for exhibiting or vending at the annual Green and Growing Fair
- Discounted rate for professional development workshops/ seminars
- Full participation in meetings, workshops and seminars hosted by GreenNet
- Contacted through GreenNet’s listserv concerning available materials, workshops, events, seminars and issues concerning community greening.
Member Guidelines
GreenNet is an organization who’s goal is to efficiently allocate resources to community gardens and limit organizational overlap.
Members should be willing to share information concerning programs, participants and resource allotments with other member organizations. Organization or Individual shares the mission of GreenNet to support community-managed greening including community gardening, urban agriculture, school gardening, urban open space and natural areas. Active participation and support of GreenNet events, committees, or working groups by a representative of the organization.
